In no particular order, here are my favourite articles on the SCP foundation. Note: they may include interactive elements, so be prepared.
First off, is Lily's 001 proposal, or "The World's Gone Beautiful"
Short, but very sweet, basically 24 hours before the world ends lillies bloom everywhere, so our last day will be a beautiful one. Very bittersweet, a pattern that you shall notice a lot more further down.
Next on the list, "Twitch subs for the master!", by the author Iamtheooga
A bunch of silly eldritch creatures have started a career in twitch streaming, which is fucked up for the Veil
And for something unexpected we got literally every article ever posted by Daveyoufool.
My reasoning for this is that everything he makes is very good, and also kind of casual. However some of them are "choose your own adventure" type articles, so keep your wits on you.

Here's an entire canon for ya. The AEED, or Anomalous Entity Engagement Division. They treat anomalies like, gasps, actual people? How crazy! How sweet! How deserving of being on this list.
Next up is a doozy. "Rebuilding The World", by Habaniah.
Here's the gist of it.The Foundation discovers a town with an anomaly where whoever breaks its laws gets the harshest possible punishment. The Foundation then does their thing and tests with it. The head researcher doesn't want that, gets the Fire Supression Department called on her (will explain later), and sacrifices herself to stop them. Hoo baby, the angst on this thing could power a small skyscraper for a week. Go read it yourself, this entry is getting too long.
Condensing the list a little, here's a tip. Every October since 2022, the wiki starts a horror contest. On even years (will update if 2026's sucks), the most compelling psychological horror you've ever seen is written there. Everybody loves this shit, they're even allowing folks to post for the 2024 one two years later! Be warned though. The horror gets very heavy, very fast. Don't go there if you value your sanity.
Another unexpected article if you're a casual, is anything tagged with wilsons-wildlife. It's a Group Of Interest (GOI for short) that's basically a wildlife shelter for magical animals. It's also in Boring, Oregon. Common PNW W. Anyway, despite what you think, most of its articles are actually quite sad. Go here if you want to cry. It will make you anyway.
More condensation. Every few years, when the slots are filling up, there'll be a contest. We call them the kcons, because the winners get their article in slot X000. Every one has a theme. Everything posted for them is pure peak. I reccomend 7k, 8k, and 9k. Good shit.
Speaking of, the next that was written was the current 7k, or The Loser, by Harryblank. It's also in the On Guard 43 canon, and can be a good introduction to that.
Meet Me In The Stars, by Oritiefling. Second place in the 7kcon, and for a good reason. That being, it's an intensely bittersweet tale about aliens learning that they aren't alone just before their doom.
A very early one that aged quite well is 1342, or To The Makers Of Music, author unknown. Voyager One gets discovered by aliens, and helps them forge a millenia long relationship with us. They're dying, so they sent a message back to our past, to let it bloom all over again. Utter classic.
Such a classic, in fact, that it got homaged years later. To The Makers Of Reeses Puffs. Same thing, but with a Reeses Puffs commercial (don't boo me I'm not sponsored). It was also done by Doctor Cimmerian of all people, who the casuals might know as one of the pillars of the early SCP community. Still very good despite being obviously done before.
"Waiter, more $tag-bittersweet$ please!", I call out, as my butler enters my room with Into The Void. It's about space, and the weird shit that this one space probe finds there. Of course, it's all extremely bittersweet.
The next three also fit that category, so buckle up. The World's Gone. Nah, jk, that's actually the name of the next item on our list. SCP 7409 is a lily, deep inside the Bootes supervoid, constantly producing pollen. With the name you might be thinking that this is a lot like Lily's Proposal. That's because it's a tribute to that. If you mention Lily's Proposal you shall instantly be my friend, so that's why this is on the list.
One of the most upvoted articles on the entire site's up next, Someone To Watch Over Us. Basically, it's a guy that stays with you if you're dying alone. He even offers a cigarette. Quite mainstream, but sometimes things are mainstream for valid reasons. It's earned its spot near the top.
Here's a Therapy Bird, which is a chickadee that's very good at therapy. I don't know what else to say about it, sorry.
And the last in this set of four which I set up is The Rainbow Bridge, a portal that appears randomly which can take you to the afterlife of your pets. Very sappy, very good.
